The first wrinkle I noticed happened when I was about forty two. I remember thinking is that a line or a wrinkle? It was quite devastating in the way that I realized life here is limited to a certain number of years. I also realized no matter how much I exercised or how wonderful my diet it was I was going to age probably according to my genetic makeup. None the less I decided that I wanted to slow the process down as much as possible. I became interested in essential oils and their ability to nourish and care for our skin. I found a company that makes high quality oils and ordered according to what I had read.
There are many oils that are great for the skin but my favorite is palmarosa combined with carrot seed or lavender at times or rose geranium. Other times I will add a drop of patchouli. I keep a small glass dish perhaps 2”X2” square in the bathroom to mix the oils in. I put only as much carrier oil and drops for three days use. I like to change the combination frequently or at least to have that option. There are other oils too such as sandalwood, neroli and rose otto that are beneficial to the skin. Some like rose can be rather expensive and others can do almost as well. Once you begin to work with oils and know their properties mixing becomes an intuitive process. From your set of oils you simply mix up what calls to you for any condition you may be dealing with.
